Sanderling “CREW” Take on Blues

Sanderling “CREW” Take on Blues, Spanish Mackeral, Albecore and a bunch of Mahi Mahi – Reel Attitude Dave makes the day for us all

If you can post this asap we would appreciate it. Reel Attitude Dave made the day by finding fish on a tough day as we were 6.5 miles off the coast in search of “the bite” and little was going on. Monday, July 11th, was turning out to be tough. Dave worked his magic by understanding what all of the other boats were “finding” and using the temperature changes to his advantage as we found 10 Mahi Mahi fish off of a reef he realized would hold some fish. The weather change had apparently turned the winds and we were at the mercy of it – but, oh no, Dave made the day finding these fish for us “tourists!” That’s the second year in a row he made the day.

All in all, we landed 23 fish and ate like kings last night. We have so much fish to eat we believe most of our dinners will include Mahi Mahi, Blues, Spanish Mackeral and the lone Albecore. Thanks Dave for a great time and thanks to Bob’s Bait & Tackle for helping me book the trip two weeks in advance.
